ABOUT WYOMING HIGH DESERT MALT
Who We Are
Our vision starting coming together in 2013. We wanted to provide our local brewers and distillers with locally grown and malted barley. What we also began to realize is that we needed to fill a void in the farm to table. We are proud to offer locally grown heritage varieties of grains to provide fresh milled flour as well as malt.
Our family has farmed our current farm since 1946. We want to continue the tradition and family farm values.
Malting will be available soon!
We grow and use only a German two row malting variety called Scarlett.
We want our customers to experience what fresh wholesome food is like.
We have Hard Red Spring wheat, White Sonora, and Red Fife available.
